Hunting In Limpopo

Limpopo is a South African province bordering Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique. Known for its beautiful bushveld and vast wildlife reserves, it also contains part of the iconic Kruger National Park.

The landscape is dominated by classic bushveld terrain — a rich mix of grasslands and scattered trees — with the vast Lowveld plains stretching outward, occasionally interrupted by rugged mountain ranges rising from the highveld plateau in the province’s south-central region.

Limpopo is home to one of the largest concentrations of animal species in Africa, including:

  • Cape Buffalo
  • Kudu
  • Giraffe
  • Zebra
  • Lion
  • Elephant
  • Crocodile
  • Hippo
  • Spotted Hyena
  • Leopard
  • Cape Wild Dog
  • …and many more

Not only is the species diversity impressive — the populations themselves are strong and healthy, providing hunters with a truly rewarding experience.

At Joubert Pro Hunt, we’ve been outfitting hunts in Limpopo for over 20 years. We offer access to all game species in the region and will tailor your safari to match your preferences — whether you’re pursuing plains game or something more adrenaline-fueled.

For those seeking a true challenge, we offer dangerous game expeditions that will place you in the heart of the action: face-to-face with the Cape Buffalo, tracking the deep footprints of the Elephant, or stalking the vast African bush alongside your professional hunter.

Whether you’re after a common Impala or the elusive Limpopo Bushbuck, we’ll take you on a hunting journey like no other.
