At Joubert Pro Hunt, we don’t just offer safaris — we offer authentic African hunting experiences grounded in decades of expertise, deep respect for the land, and a passion for the hunt.

Founded in 1999 by Leon “Spyker” Joubert and his wife Ilse, Joubert Pro Hunt has grown into one of South Africa’s premier hunting outfits. With over 33 years of professional hunting experience across South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Cameroon, and Uganda, Leon has earned his stripes in some of Africa’s wildest terrains.

Ilse, a qualified Professional Hunter and Outfitter, has supported the family business for over a decade and plays a key role in ensuring each guest has an exceptional experience.

Our Lodge

We offer two unique lodges, each tailored to deliver world-class hunting in distinct African environments:

JPH River Lodge – Limpopo Frontier

Our newest lodge sits on the banks of the Limpopo River, right on the border with Zimbabwe. A wilder, more remote experience built for serious hunters.
